Alfred Watson Brinkley was born February 26th, 1952 in Erick, Oklahoma to Wanda Bell (Terry) and Raymond Alfred Brinkley. He passed away Monday, September 27th, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 1 day.

Alfred grew up in Erick where he attended school. After his schooling he went to work for his father pouring concrete and hauling hay. At the age of 21 he joined the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. Upon his discharge he lived in Lampasses, Texas and began his career as a truck driver. He was later married to LaVonda Juandine "Butch" (Keith) on January 1, 1982 in Erick, Oklahoma. Together they made their home in the Erick area where he continued his driving career. Alfred enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting guns and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Joseph Wayne Brinkley; 4 brothers, Richard, Dewey, Ralph and Steven Brinkley; 2 sisters, Pearley Rodgers and Martha Reeder.

Alfred is survived by his daughter, Sarah Beard and husband, Dale, Dumas, TX; 3 step children, Kevin Johnson and wife, Tammy, Brian Johnson, and Marilyn Berry and husband, Jim Bob; 2 grandchildren, Michael Beard and Kirstie Cantu; 3 great grandchildren, Isaac, Scarlett and Kylie; 1 brother, Joe Brinkley; 2 sisters, Lawanna Brinkley and Judy Rodgers; special friend, Vickie Bales, Erick, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
