Judith Ann Carlson was born May 21, 1945. She was the daughter of Lucian and Helen (Cooney) Carlson. Judy graduated from the Laurens High School in 1963. Following high school, she worked for the Rural Electric Cooperative in Pocahontas County, then as a machinist for Iowa Industrial Hydraulics north of Pocahontas. After he time at IIH, she worked at Gold Star Manufacturing in Laurens, then for Iowa Electrical Supply in Spencer until her retirement.
Judy loved animals. She was especially fond of her Scottish Terrier, Scottie. One of her favorite places to visit and support was People for Pets in Spencer.
Survivors include her brother, Richard Carlson of Gulf Port, Mississippi and her niece, Justine Carlson.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
