William "Bill" Joseph Borntraeger, age 81, passed away on September 27, 2021. He was born on February 18, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bill is preceded in passing by his parents Joseph Aloysius Borntraeger and Ruth Helen Cleary Borntraeger.
Here to carry on his memory is his adoring husband, Dennie Hurst; sisters, Pat Peters and Mary Jhoslein (Bill); and loving nieces and nephews.
Bill enjoyed sports, art and music. He was an avid U of L fan. However, his favorite hobby was traveling with his husband through the U.S. and the world, creating many wonderful memories. Bill will be truly missed by many.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm . A funeral service in Bill's honor will take place Monday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Bill will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
