Mary Ethel McConkie Donoho, 75, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 15, 1946 and passed away quietly on the evening of September 23, 2021, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Bruce Redd McConkie and Amelia Smith McConkie and her siblings: Bruce Redd McConkie Jr., Joseph Fielding McConkie (Brenda, still living), Mark Lewis McConkie (Mary Ann, still living), and her loving and loyal husband, Benjamin Franklin Donoho.

She is survived by her siblings: Vivian Adams (Carlos), Stanford McConkie (Kathy), Rebecca Pinegar (Michael), Stephen McConkie (Shauna), and Sara Fenn, (Jerry), and her children: Rachel Anne, Rebecca Louise Egan (Josh), Mariana Allan (Tyler), Bethany Lynn Crowton (Nate), Sarah Chloe Gudmunson (Preston), David Benjamin (Krista Leigh Jensen), Robert Bruce Donoho and 21 grandchildren.

Taken from a brief personal history that she penned years ago, she wrote: "Life has been more challenging than I could have ever dreamed possible, but it has been good. Some say that when life is over you will look back and say, 'Life has been good.' I believe when my last breath is drawn I shall sigh a sigh of contentment and say, "That was one terrific ride!"

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 1st at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 10390 North Alpine Highway, Highland, Utah. A Viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Interment will take place in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
