Ora Pratt Witte

Ora Pratt Witte, 102, of the Marlow Community of Milam County died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery. Family visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Witte, a homemaker, was born July 21, 1902 in Milam County to E. A. (Al) and Tommie Pearl (Hardwick) Henry. She was a member of the Marlow Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husbands, Ernest Pratt and Johnnie Lee Witte; daughter, Margie McClaren; son, Stanley Pratt; granddaughter, Madeline Perrone and two sisters.

Survivors include: Sons Wesley Pratt of Giddings; Truman Pratt of Cameron; Lee Roy Pratt of Cameron; Daughter Bonnie Peel of Cameron; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Marlow Baptist Church Building Fund.
