CAMERON - Funeral services for Harry Phillip White, 84, of the Jones Prairie community, near Cameron, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at Little River Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Hudson officiating. Burial followed in the Little River Cemetery. Mr. White died Saturday, Oct. 6, in a Temple hospital following an illness.
A retired farmer and rancher, he was born Sept. 26, 1917, in Milam County. Mr. White was a member of Little River Baptist Church.
Survivors were his wife, Lanelle White of Jones Prairie; a son, Craig White of Sugar Land; two daughters, Delaine Burgess of Rockdale and Charlotte Pomykal of Rosebud; two brothers, John White of Marlin and Robert White of Jones Prairie; three sisters, Louise Gibson of Johnson City, Eula Mae White and Nadine Westerman, both of Rosebud; also, five grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Little River Fellowship Hall.
