She was born on April 2, 1936 in Toms Brook, Virginia and relocated to Indiana after marrying her husband of 67 years, Douglas Walker.
Beverly loved the Cincinnati Reds, snow-birding in Sarasota, FL, and watching the many school and sport activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked at Essex Wire and the family business, Home Appliance Leasing for many years until her retirement.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Douglas; her son, Gordon Walker and wife Connie of Fort Wayne, IN; three grandchildren, Brendan Walker and Jessie Millhouse of Fort Wayne, IN, and Maggie Caulfield of Grand Rapids, MI; as well as three great grandchildren, Isabel Millhouse of Fort Wayne, IN and August and Bailey Caulfield of Grand Rapids, MI. Beverly is also survived by her brother Robert Bauserman of Strasburg, VA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Covington Memorial Funeral Home has the honor of serving the Walker family.
