Ruth Jeanette Beard age 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of September 18th 2021.
She was born May 8th 1925 in Claremore Oklahoma, to Roscoe and Alma Talbert. She married Clarence Beard on November 7th 1954 and spent 53 wonderful years together. They loved to travel and went all over the World together on trips and cruises. Clarence departed this life on December 30th 2007.
She worked for 32 years as a Secretary for Texaco Inc. in their Legal Department, retiring in October 1981. After retirement she continued to work in a volunteer capacity for the American Red Cross and several local Churches.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Alma, her husband Clarence, sisters Dorothy, Geraldine, Vedah, & Joy, brothers R.C. and Clyde.
She is survived by her son Curtis, his wife Debra, granddaughters Catherine and Jennifer and great grandsons Blaise and Jax.
Her faith was unwavering and her love and generosity for others was experienced by many of her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
