William Andrew "Bill" Roland, 75, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho.

Bill was born November 16, 1945 in Denver, Colorado, to Ralph and Lucie (Garcia) Roland. Bill was united in marriage to Mary Jane Hensley on August 28, 1970. Together they shared 51 precious years before his passing.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his service Bill began his career in the maintenance field. Over the years he worked maintenance at the City of Joplin, NorthPark Mall and Cardinal Scales. Bill loved fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. He was a gifted guitar player and enjoyed performing for family and friends. Family was everything to Bill and he cherished the time spent and memories created with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Roland; great granddaughter, Ella Rose Otto; siblings, Ralph Roland, Jr., Jackie Stanley, Theron Roland.

Bill is lovingly survived by his wife, Mary; eight children, sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; siblings, Charles Roland, John Roland, Mike Roland, Jerry Roland, Gilbert Ray Roland; as well as a host of extended family and many friends.
