The remains were shipped here and laid to rest beside her husband, who died several years ago while engaged in the hotel business. Funeral was Saturday afternoon and a large number of Mrs. Rubeck's old friends followed her to her last resting place.
About 15 or 20 years ago the Rubecks were in the hotel business here for several years and were very highly respected. We have been unable to get any particulars, only the above mentioned.
Mrs. Rubeck leaves two sons and two daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother. One son, Walter, is in the tinner's business in St. Paul. Oscar and his two sisters live in Denver. Mrs. Rubeck also leaves three sisters, Mrs. H. P. Berck of Cleveland precinct, Mrs. Fannie Wells of Fremont and Mrs. Mary Blumer of Ashton.
We join the many friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
