Marcus R. Hill, a resident of Susque View Home, passed away at UPMC Williamsport Hospital on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021.
Born Nov. 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Betty L. (McCracken) and Marcus R. Hill, Sr.
He graduated in 1962 from Lock Haven High School.
Marcus was a man who could do anything. As far as an occupation, he worked at different local garages but mainly was a self-employed contractor.
For recreation, he was known as a sharp pool shooter and served as President of the Lock Haven Men's and Mixed Leagues for many years.
He is survived by three sisters: Betty Fernburg, Debra (Carl) Styers and Kathy (Bob) Dershem; two daughters, Kim (Sebastian) Schepis and Tami Stabley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Marcus was the best brother anyone could ask for. We will miss him forever. For all of us who loved him, his memory will live on.
A celebration of Marcus' life will be held at a later date.
