Debbie worked as an office manager at Champagne's Grocery (now Rees Street Market) in Breaux Bridge for many years, alongside her parents, Antoine and Mary, and her brother, Henry. She loved reading her bible, going on vacations to the beach, and gathering with family and friends. Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who made sure everyone's needs were taken care of. She will always be remembered for her genuine kindness and her warm smile that made everyone feel welcomed.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Badeaux; son, Kevin P. Poirrier (Kim); granddaughter, Kalyn R. Poirrier; and her brother, Henry J. Champagne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Mary Tauzin Champagne; sister, Dianne Marie Champagne; stepdaughter, Rachel B. Bonomi; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Antoine Tauzin; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Champagne.
