Doug was born in Baltimore on July 22, 1968 and was the son of Kathryn R. (Mock) Margush and the late David G. Margush. He graduated from Spring Grove High School class of 1986 and attended Penn State University. He was the Deputy Group Director at the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services in Baltimore MD. He was the President of the Portable Rod and Gun Club in Sterling Run PA and a member of SCCA Automotive. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle on benefit rides with his close group of friends.
In addition to being survived by his wife Jill and his mother Kathryn, he was the loving father of Katy Carpenter and her husband Joseph, and Daniel Nealon and his wife Meghan. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan, Alex, Jackson, Lilah, Stella, Johnathan and Austin; his brothers Jeffrey Margush and his wife Cheryl and Matthew Margush and his wife Jennifer; his sons-in-law Kevin and Eddie and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father David Margush and his daughter Jennifer Repetto.
Following cremation, services are being held privately by the family under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., of Spring Grove.
