Paul E. Waugh, 88, of Baltimore, passed away on September 15, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born to the late Grover and Ruth Waugh on March 19, 1933 in Crown City, Ohio.
Paul was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Ohio Paper Mill after 42 years. He attended the NOW Church in Baltimore, was a member of Fairfield Fish and Game, the VFW Post 3761 for over 50 years, and a considered himself a lifetime Brother of King Chapel Church in Crown City.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Sue (Michael) Heavner, and Barbara (Jack) Hickle; grandchildren, James (Connie) Holbrook, Mollie LeFever, Caren Schultz, Callista Corrigan; Jared Hickle, and Jordan (Paige) Hickle; seventeen great grandchildren; siblings, Frank (Sally) Waugh, Ruth Ann Criner, Alice Pinkerman, Geraldine (Tom) Cummons, and Kathleen (Joe) Rose; brother-in-law, William Stapleton; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Janet (Stephen) Gaswint; and special friends, John and Daryl Brickey.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Waugh; siblings Grover Lee (Mary Lou) Waugh, and Edith Stapleton; infant brother and sister; mother-and-father-in-law, James and Ruth Howard; and parents.
A memorial service officiated by pastor Clayton Warren will take place at 12 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, OH 43105. Burial will follow with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore. Family and friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
Memorial donations may be made in Paul's memory to the Fairfield County Meals on Wheels, NOW Assembly of God Church in Baltimore, or to the King Chapel Church in Crown City.
