Mrs. Katherine Cox

Mrs. Katherine Cox, former resident of Greenwood, died last night in Atlanta, Georgia, where she had been living for the past six years.
Mrs. Cox was the widow of the late Robert Kennedy Cox, who died in 1936. She was 80. Prior to moving to Atlanta, she had made her home in Greenwood.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced Saturday by Wilson and Knight Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cox is survived by two sons, Calvin Cox, the city editor of the Atlanta Constitution and James Cox, both of Atlanta: one daughter, Mrs. David Brauer of Fort Myers, Florida; two brothers, Henry S. Durham of Itta Bena and Robert Durham of Sanitorium; and two sisters, Mrs. A. G. Young of Truman, Ark., and Mrs. Myrtle Bostick of Little Rock, Ark.
