Lula Nadine Marchant, 83, Springfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, after a long illness. Nadine was born in Dora, MO, on November 16, 1937, to Henry David and Alta Mae (Hale) Shipley. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church. Nadine sang in the church choir and was active in many civic activities in her earlier years. Her and her husband were inviolved with the Grand Oak Mission.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, her two children: Cheryl Marie Abney and Donald Wade Marchant. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters: Donna Faye Dobbs and Shirley Ann Duke and brother: Henry Duane Shipley. She is survived by her husband: Wade Marchant and brother, Jerry Shipley and his wife, Shirley.
Burial Thursday, September 23, 2021, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
