ELI CLINE OBITUARY:
Eli Cline, 82, retired farmer, died at 11:50 p.m. Friday at his home on Newark road after a short illness. Mr. Cline was preceded in death by his two children, Mrs. Harry Spittle and James Cline. He is survived by his wife Lydia Jane, two sons, David and Avery of Mount Vernon, two daughters, Mrs. Ada Weaver of Fairview, Mrs. Emma Clutter of Mount Vernon, 17 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. William Springer of Mount Vernon, Mrs. R.O Kirkpatrick of Fredricktown, Mrs. Lottie Rinard of Rinard Mills and one brother, Alonzo, of near Utica.

Funeral services are to be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the St. John's cemetery.
