Virginia Hanson, age 91, of Granton, WI died Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers, Wayne Berg, Wesley Berg and Giles Berg.
Virginia Elaine Berg was born on September 1, 1930 in Whitehall, WI the daughter of William and Edith (Nicols) Berg. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1948, and then worked at Judy's Restaurant in Taylor and the Colonial Hospital in Rochester, MN before attending Winona Business College.
She married Alvin Clayton Hanson on December 8, 1951. They lived in Fayetteville, NC until returning to Janesville, WI. They moved to Granton in 1958. Virginia worked at Weyhauser, Steiner's Store, Granton High School and she retired from the Granton Post Office in 1992.
Virginia was active in the Granton Civic Club, the Granton Library, the FFA Alumni and WELCA.
