Effingham -- Mrs. Ronald ( Shirley Hiatt ) Ashley 48, of Effingham formerly of Neoga, died at 4 a.m. today; Oct. 21, 1986, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Mrs. Ashley was born July 24, 1938, in Shelby County, the daughter of Glenn and Mildred ( Daniels ) Hiatt. She married Ronald Ashley in 1963 in Effingham.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Neoga.
Surviving are her husband; sons Glenn of Teutopolis, Michael at home; Daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Peggy) Funneman of Teutopolis, Marla at home; sister, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Carruthers of Tuscola; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter.
