Professional Football Player. Rick was undrafted and played his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1970 until 1972. Prior to turning pro, he attended the University of Georgia and transfer for his junior and senior years to the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma on a football scholarship and graduated from Tulsa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education. Rick was forced to retired at the end of the 1972 season because of knee injuries. In his 3 year career, he played in 17 games and completed 97 of 204 passes for 950 yards. At the time of his death, he was married and had 2 daughters.
