SHIRLEY -- Adam Timothy Hopf, 21, of Shirley, died Thursday, October 13, 2011, at his home, after a lengthy illness.

Adam was born in Leominster, August 17, 1990, a son of Timothy M. and Rhonda L. (Griffin) Hopf and was a lifelong resident of Shirley.

He was a 2005 graduate of Shirley Middle School and in 2009 graduated from Lunenburg High School. He was currently enrolled in the advanced computer science program at Shriver Job Corps Center at Devens, through his studies there he was a CompTIA certified A+ and Net+ technician.

Besides his parents, he leaves his brother, Lyle T. Hopf, and his sister, Dana K. Hopf of Shirley; his maternal grandparents, William and Kathleen (Welton) Fontaine of Leominster; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Catherine Hopf of Rhode Island, and he was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Joan T. Hopf.

HOPF -- Calling hours are Monday, October 17th, 4-7 pm at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road (Rte. 2A), Ayer. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 18th, 10 a.m. at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road (Rte. 2A), Ayer, with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ayer.
