Mary was an active member of St. Joseph First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph Michigan. She enjoyed knitting and being helpful to her friends. She loved to play bridge and was a Life Master. For several years she owned and operated her own beauty shop in Fredonia, PA. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her loving family.
Mary is survived by her three sons; Larry (Debbie) Black, Terry (Gloria) Black and Bradley (Nancy) Black; six grandchildren Jennifer (Jeff), Rebecca (Mathew), Sarah (Edward), Eric, Bradley (Kristin) and Ashley (Garrett); ten great-granddaughters, one great grandson; her special sister-in-law Louise Anthony and her best friend Cheri Mulbar. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Sam, Howard and Cliff Blake and her sister Betty Blake.
In keeping with Mary's wishes she will be laid to rest in the Memorial Garden at St. Joseph First United Methodist Church, 2950 Lakeview Ave., St. Joseph MI 49085 Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the Black family.
