He graduated from Montmorenci High School. He had been a resident of Rainsville for 31 years and had lived a short time in West Lafayette and Pine Village. He was a service station manager for many years. He was also a construction worker for Kettelhut and previously worked for Alcoa. He became disabled in 1978. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Attica. He enjoyed gardening and especially his family.
Survivors besides his wife include: son, Michael E. Krichbaum, Lafayette; brother, James L. Krichbaum, Lafayette; sister Mary Katherine (Leon) Emerson, Pine Village; aunt, Mary Louise Krichbaum, West Lafayette; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday with burial in Rainsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. tonight (Friday) at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society." – Fountain County Neighbor, August 21, 1998
