Mrs. Lena M. Davis
Hartland, Dec. 21 – Mrs. Lena M. Davis, 78, widow of the late Fred R. Davis, died Thursday morning in the Florida sanitorium in Orlando, Fla., after a few weeks illness. Mrs. Davis and her daughter Miss Gertrude Davis, were spending the winter in Plymouth, Fla.
She was born Jan. 6, 1870 in Hartland the daughter of Allen and Louisa Tripp Webber. She was a life long resident of Hartland.
She is survived by her daughter Gertrude of Hartland; two brothers Edwin and Perley both of Hartland and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral services will be held at the Donald H. Shorey funeral chapel, Pittsfield Thursday at 1 p.m., Rev. Donald M. Hinckley, pastor of the Universalist church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Hartland.
