Rudy W. Ammon Jr., 92, of Monroe, WI, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at Monroe Clinic Hospital.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1915, in Exeter Township, Green County, WI. He is the son Rudolph and Fannie (Sharer) Ammon. Rudy and L. Alice Dooley were married in February of 1941, and they farmed in Washington and Clarno Township. Rudy also worked for Archer Oil Company, Vigortone Feeds, Dairyland Seeds, and was as former Board Member of the Farm Home Administration. He was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church in Monroe. Rudy and Mary Dooley Edwardson were married in June of 1989.
Surviving are his children: Richard (Lucy) Ammon, Robert (Katherine) Ammon, John (Bonnie) Ammon, and Mary (Keith) Olson, stepchildren, Anne Edwardson, and Thomas (Deb) Edwardson, siblings: John (Hilda) Ammon, Ethel Anding of Madison, Mildred Stuessy, and Marlene (Charles) Williams, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wives, Alice Ammon in 1985 and Mary Ammon in 2003.
