Betty Doris Everly, 80, of Santa Paula, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2008. She was born on August 30, 1928 in Polk County, MO, and was a resident of Ventura County for 65 years. Betty worked in nursing and private duty care. She was a great homemaker and loved to do embroidery and enjoyed cooking. She loved going to church and her passion in life was taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joann Michaud, and granddaughters Suzanne Michaud Settlemire and Crystal Utley. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bernell Everly; sons Jesse Robinson, Robert Robinson (wife Carol), and Terry Utley (wife Charlotte); son-in-law Norm Michaud; daughters Susan Terrell (and her favorite son-in-law Ernie Terrell), and Anna Taylor (Jose Rasas); her cousin Geneva and her son Michael Durham; grandchildren Robin Robinson, Jason Robinson, Karina Straub, Jesse Feller, Bobby Robinson, Tracy Utley, Joanna Utley, Terry Utley, Tyler Utley, Donelle Corona, Ernie Terrell Jr., Holly Terrell, Donny Foster and Julie Foster; and 13 great-grandchildren, Asley Robinson, Robert Robinson, James Robinson, Andrea Robinson, Kayla Riley, Brittany Riley, Gerald Riley, Mackenzie Corona, Angelique Corona, Allan Settlemire, Cody Nali, Nolan McKeen, and Wade Foutch. There will be a graveside service at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery on Saturday, October 11 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Bob Walpole officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria del ángel Stetler Mortuary, 128 S. 8th St., Santa Paula.
