Bill passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2007 at the Highland Manor in Mesquite, Nevada at the age of 91 years old. He resided at 6893 South 595 East in Midvale, Utah at the time of his death.

Bill was born March 9, 1916 to William F. Bailess and Emily Viestenz Bailess.

William married Margaret Jane Searle in 1939. Margaret passed away in 1995.

Bill married Lorraine S. Judd in 1996. Together, in 1999, they moved to Mesquite, Nevada to be close to Bill's only son, William Lee Bailess.

Bill spent his lifetime as a machinist. If a piece of machinery wasn't available or even made at the time—Bill made it. He always had time to help others repair, fix or assemble and he loved his family to come and visit. He was an amazing father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
