James Wm. R Stuard aka Steward raised in Harrison Co., KY. He married
1/w Amanda Reed 21 Sep 1858 Scott Co., KY., d/o James and Dianna (Hoagland-Hoglin)
Fields, Reed of Sadieville area, Scott Co., KY. They moved to Cameron, Clinton Co., MO. Had children there. They separated or divorced.
He seems to have moved by himself to Texas and Oklahoma ending up in Kremlin,
Garfield Co., Oklahoma and buried in Krelim Cemetery as per obituary.
He married 2/w Laura Ann (Brooks) Davis, Stuard 26 Feb 1901 Kingfisher, Oklahoma
which is north of Oklahoma City. Possibly common-law marriage before marrying in 1901
in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

funeral services were conducted over the remains of James W. Stuard by Rev. Nelson at the Kremlin Methodist church Thursday morning at eleven o'clock. James W. Stuard was born in
Harrison Co. KY on 24 Apr 1837 and died 13 Nov, 1910 aged 73 yrs, 6mo, 19 days. He leaves to mourn his loss nine children; three living in Missouri, two in Colorado, one in Montana, two in California and John Stuard (John Purcell Stuard) of this place and many friends. he moved from
Kentucky to Missouri, where he was a member of the Baptist Church and from there to Oklahoma
at the opening in 1899. Interment at the Kremlin Cemetery.
