Mrs. Mae (Parsons) (Evans) Truell, 82, of 218 Canal Street, widow of James M. Truell, died early this morning at her home. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery. Born in Wardsboro Nov. 23, 1875, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Parsons. She attended schools in her native town. She first married James H. Evans, who died many years ago. Of this union two children were born, Harold Evans, who died in 1954, and Mrs. Lena (Evans) Bush, who died May 12, 1957. Her marriage to Mr. Truell took place in Wardsboro Nov. 11, 1916. He died several years ago. Mrs. Truell is survived by one brother, Burt Parsons of Wardsboro, one grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Clara Barton Tent, D. U. V., and the First Baptist Church.
