Columbus Layfette Prichard, born to George and Mary Prichard. Siblings to Oliver Prichard, Walt K. Prichard, Bonnie L. Prichard, George Ernest "Erne" Prichard, Durfey Prichard, Gaylen Floyd Prichard, James Prichard, Andrew Prichard, Raymond E. Prichard, John A. Prichard and his twin brother, Jeff Prichard.
Columbus was a hard worker farmer, as well as working in the Oil field.
Columbus married Flora Ellen Ferguson on April 1924 and together they had 3 children, Julia Prichard, Mary Lois Prichard(Hall) and Jimmy Prichard (Benson).
Columbus had a tragic accident from a oil fire spark that burned his body while working in Mission City for a company called Gyspy Oil Company.
He later died at Harbor Hospital.
Columbus was interned to Carmargo, Oklahoma where he is laid to rest with his family member and no headstone.
