A. Kristene Calvin, 48, of 1052 Augusta died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Dec. 12, 1948, in Hillsdale, Mich., to Arlo L. and Marjorie Ruffe Sowers, she married Gary D. Calvin on May 2, 1970, in Hillsdale. He survives.
Also surviving are her father of Hillsdale; one daughter, Lorie L. Calvin of Pekin; one son, G. David of Pekin; five brothers, Rodney L. Sowers of Florida, A. Kim Sowers of Texas, A. Keith Sowers of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Ronnie S. Sowers and Jon W. Sowers, both of Hillsdale; and one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Rozanne) Ferguson of Hillsdale. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Graveside services will be at Spring Lake Cemetery near Manito.
