Carolyn graduated from Oklahoma City's Capitol Hill High School in 1959 and, within a few of years, managed a home with a blended family, which seemed to be her calling in life throughout several decades. Carolyn and her husband had several Dairy Queens in Ardmore, Oklahoma, before opening Lynn's Burger Spot in Madill, Oklahoma, which she owned and operated for many years. She later became a Licensed Practical Nurse gaining her first experience as a nursing student by helping many during the OKC Murrah Building Bombing and later as an LPN treating the many injured in the May 3rd Tornado. Her service and dedication to others throughout the decades revealed her compassionate and generous spirit. Carolyn was a Christian woman and greatly loved her family and friends. Her many hobbies included dancing, fishing, traveling, watching the Wheel of Fortune, playing scrabble and chess. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
