William Charles Brown, died on January 4, 2020 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after a long illness. He was born in Johnstown, PA. After he concluded his four years in the United States Air Force, he spent most of his early adult life in Baltimore, Maryland where he worked as bank manager for Maryland National Bank. In 1979, Mr. Brown moved to Washington DC where he worked at Gucci Watergate and later became assistant manager. From 1990 to 2000 he worked in the retail sales division of the Library of Congress, retiring to Fort Lauderdale in 2001. Mr. Brown is survived by his loving sister Jackie Hall and her husband Edward Hall; nephews Vincent and Matthew Baccala, and Ed Hall; nieces Jennifer Marshall, Barbara Miller, Laura Hall and beloved friends Judith Brown and Phillip Cover as well as many friends in Washington, Baltimore and Fort Lauderdale.
