Al Woodruff died February 16, 2002. He was 74.

Al is survived by his daughter Wendy and son-in-law Randall Bjorge (Lawrenceville, GA.); grandchildren Jeff Woodruff, Amanda Bjorge, Christopher Bjorge, great-grand-children Jeramie Thomas and Cassandra Bjorge; his sister Kathie Williams; his brother, Charles Woodruff and numerous nieces and nephews.

Al was an active member of Salt Lake City Neighborhood and Mobile Watch programs and received many awards and commendations for his community service including the 1999 Humanitarian award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the community and law enforcement.

After cremation, his ashes will be buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with a graveside service at 12 noon Thursday, February 21, 2002.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salt Lake Police Mutual Aid Association, 315 East 200 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. Funeral Directors, Evans & Early Mortuary

Al will be missed by all who knew him. He was a treasure.
