Lynda Bailey Pursley, 70, of Hewitt, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 01, at Robinson Cemetery in Robinson, with the Rev. Michael Moore officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.

Lynda Sue was born in Hubbard, Texas, to the late Ercelle Bailey and Minnie Mae Lambert Bailey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Robinson where she belonged to the "Praying Hands" Sunday school class. She worked at The Roosevelt Hotel in Waco in the 1950s, and after she married, she became a stay-at-home mom. Lynda was mother to three children and grandmother to seven.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Rychlik.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Darrell Pursley, of Hewitt; daughters, Pam Rychlik Lemke and her husband, Ken, of Victoria and Cindy Pursley Geer and her husband, Mike, of Hewitt; son, Ronnie Rychlik, of Waco; grandchildren: Melissa and Amanda Byrum, of Victoria, Stephanie Byrum, of Houston, Courtney and Cody Geer, of Hewitt, Jason Lemke, of Victoria, and Lynn Jackson, of Hallsville; great-grandchildren: Megan Berry, Brenner, Matthew, and Kayla Lemke; brothers, Bill Bailey and his wife, Linda, of Heflin, Ala., Dan Bailey and his wife, Mary Ann, of Waco, Weldon Bailey and his wife, Annette, of Lorena, and Jerry Bailey and Janet, of Houston; sisters, Janelle Davis, of Waco, and Evelyn Adler and her husband, Alfred, of Robinson; other family members and numerous friends.
