MONMOUTH - Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian May Able, 82, of 814 E. Fifth Ave., who died Thursday at the home of Mrs. Charles Wallace, 315 N. D St., were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Turnbull Chapel, in charge of Rev. J.H. Payton of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, assisted by Rev. Hugh Patrick of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Marie Gabby accompanied Miss Marcia Ford, vocalist. Mrs. Eva Johnson read the obituary. Pallbearers were Elmer Wallace, Hugh Sanders, Arthur Skinner, Archie Penny, Charles Loveless and Charles Brooks.
Burial was in Monmouth Cemetery.
