"Mrs. Aili M. Rossetti, 92 of The Avenue Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Inner Drive, Rotterdam, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, June 27, 2006, at the center, surrounded by her loving family. Aili was born August 11, 1913 in N. Adams, MA, the daughter of the late Kusti and Martha Leikanen Aho. She was married on October 28, 1934 to Joseph Rossetti; he died on December 22, 1982. Aili was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family and cooking. She was an avid bowler and was a former member of the Rainbow Mixed Bowling League, the Alco Women's League and the TNC Girls League. In addition to her parents and husband, Aili was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include her loving children and their spouses, Daniel and Dorothy Rossetti Sr. of Latham; two daughters, Antoinette Carroll of Clyde, NC, and Aili Debbie and James Truelove of Rotterdam; seven precious grandchildren, Nancy and Richard Knoll of NC, Vicki and John Kelch of Rexford, Robin and Philip Genovese of NJ, Daniel and Denise Rossetti Jr. of Latham, Jason Truelove and his fiancee, Erin McAloon of Rotterdam, Jamie Truelove of Scottsdale, AZ, and Jenna Truelove and her fiance, Christopher Scepkowski Jr. of Rotterdam. Six dear great-grandchildren, two nephews, and a niece also survive. The family has invited relatives and friends on Sunday, July 2 from 1 to 5 p.m. to gather at 79 Blue Barn Rd., Rexford to celebrate Aili's life.
