Rev. F. W. Heinke of Manning, a Lutheran pastor, has three grandsons who are Lutheran ministers; Rev. Max Ansorge of Spirit Lake, Rev. Arthur Ansorge, Oakland, Ia., and Rev. Karl Ansorge, Iona, Minn. The father of these young men, Rev. J. M. Ansorge, is pastor of the Manning Lutheran church.
Rev. Mr. Heinke was born in Germany, April 24, 1860. He was married on Oct. 11, 1882, at Chatham, Ill., to Miss Isabella Schmidt. Rev. and Mrs. Heinke came to Iowa from Auburndale, Wis., in 1883. Rev. Heinke lived in Wiota before locating in Manning on Nov. 15, 1932. Mrs. Heinke passed away March 15, 1931.
There are three living children: Mrs. Gertrude Ansorge, Manning; Mrs. Minna Oldham, Melcher and Mrs. Hulda Sandhorst, Atlantic. Four sons are deceased: Martin T., Gerhard J., Max and Paul G.
The Rev. Mr. Heinke is the last member of his family, which consisted of three children.

Rev. Heinke Dies Monday in Manning
Funeral Rites Thursday for Retired Lutheran Minister
Manning (Special) – The Rev. F. W. Heinke, who would have been seventy-nine years old in April, died at his home here Monday at 4 p.m., following an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held at the Lutheran Church in Manning Thursday at 1 p.m. and at 3 p.m., in the Lutheran Church at Wiota. Inasmuch as the Rev. Heinke is a retired minister arrangements will be under the direction of synodical officers.
The Rev. Heinke, who is the father-in-law of the Rev. J. M. Ansorge, has within the past few years taken part in the ordination of three of his grandsons into the Lutheran clergy – the Rev. Carl Ansorge of Iona, Minn., the Rev. Arthur Ansorge of Oakland, and the Rev. Max Ansorge of Spirit Lake. The three are sons of the Rev. J. M. Ansorge.
The Rev. Heinke was born in April 24, 1860, in Germany. He came to the United States in his early youth and in 1883 came to Wiota from Auburndale, Wis. He moved to Manning in November, 1932, a year after the death of his wife, the former Miss Isabella Schmidt, whom he married Oct. 11, 1882, in Chatham, Ill. Four sons also preceded him in death – Martin, Gerhart, Max and Paul.
He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Gertrude Ansorge, of Manning, Mrs. Minna Oldham, of Melcher, and Mrs. Hulda Sandhart (sic) of Atlantic.
