Don Brahms passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the Greenfield Rehabilitation Health Care Center.

Funeral Services: Will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenfield with burial in the First Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Wiota, Iowa. A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following services at the church. The Rev. Dr. Keith Schweitzer will officiate the service.

Visitation: Will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Massena.

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the the Steen Funeral Home in Massena.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Jan Brahms of Greenfield; five sons, David Brahms (Charlotte) of Cumberland, Michael Brahms (Donna Sue) of Griswold, Donald Brahms of Anita, Richard Brahms (Teresa) of Currie, N.C. and Nick Jameson (Julie) of Glenwood; 8 grandchildren, Shawn Brahms (Melodee), Steven Brahms (Diane), Mitchell Brahms (Abbie), Melinda Mothershead (Cody), Janessa Brahms, Taylor Jameson, Trent Jameson and Sam Jameson; 11 great grandchildren, JoAnn Brahms, Jack Brahms, Zane Brahms, Nash Brahms, Michael Helton, Colton Brahms, Vincent Helton, Malea Brahms, Trinatie Mothershead, Katalina Mothershead and Harmanie Mothershead; brother & sister-in-law, Jim Honold (Carole) of Coon Rapids; other relatives and many friends.
