Funeral services were held Saturday, July 25, at 9:00 a.m. in the Stahl Funeral chapel for Mrs. Mary Marie Paulson, with the Rev. Orville Parham, minister of the First Methodist church, officiating.
Interment was in the Pawhuska cemetery at 11:30 under the direction of the Stahl Funeral Service.
Pallbearers included Jimmie Estes, Edwin Carson, John Foreman, Leland Cafferty, E. H. Thompson and Myron Kirkbride.
Mary Marie Paulson was born December 12, 1894 in Bate County, Missouri, the daughter of Alice and Lee Enyart. She died July 22, 1959 at 12:10 a.m. in the University hospital, Oklahoma City. She moved to Oklahoma in 1905 and located at Pawhuska. In 1929 she was married to Claude Paulson at Winfield, Kansas and the couple made their home on a farm east of Newkirk. They moved to town in 1955.
Mrs. Paulson is survived by her husband of the home, 622 N. Main, one son, Gerald Paulson, Arkansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Roy Enyart, Newkirk, and Ernest Enyart, Ponca City; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Hastings, Ponca City, and Mrs. Jewell Troxel, of Moran, Kansas.
