NASHUA, NH: Susan A. (Quinty) Delcore, 75, of Nashua, formerly of West Groton and Shirley, died Friday, September 3, 2021 at Fairview Nursing Home, Hudson, NH.

She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Delcore in 1989.

Susan was born in Ayer, August 17, 1946, a daughter of the late Robert A. and Teofilia A. (Korkuc) Quinty and grew up in Shirley. She was a 1964 graduate of Ayer High School and continued her education at Ward Business College in Worcester. She enjoyed travelling, especially to the Caribbean or any local beach, as well as spending time with her family.

Prior to her retirement in 2010 Susan worked ten years as a sales associate at Costco in Nashua. Previously, she worked many years as the secretary to the Commander of the 187th Infantry Brigade for the United States Army at the former Fort Devens.

She leaves her son and daughter in law, Todd A. and Robbin Swieca of New Ipswich, NH; her daughter, Jessica T. McCarthy and her husband, Michael of Amesbury; her brother, Peter R. Quinty of Shirley; her sister, Patricia A. Stern of Shirley; four grandchildren, Kelsea Ruch, Kevin Swieca, Patrick McCarthy, and Ellie McCarthy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Quinty of Littleton, her former husband, Edward G. Swieca, and her longtime companion, William Basile.

Susan's family will receive family and friends at a visitation period 9:30-10:30 AM Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, Ayer. For additional information or to leave an online condolence please visit their website at www.andersonfuneral.com.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, September 24, 2021 at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
