Norma Phillips of Pine City, age 92, went home to be with her Lord & Savior, Thur. Sep. 2, 2021 following a long and full life. Born on April 5, 1929 in Troy, PA; daughter of the late, Samuel E. & Odetta Carpenter Criss. She was a loving wife to her husband, William R. Phillips for nearly 50 years until his passing in 1999. Together they operated Phillips and Sons Unlimited, Pine City, NY. After his passing she continued to operate the family business to present day with the help of her cherished assistant, Cindy Rohr. In previous years, Norma was employed by J.C. Penny, LeValley McLeod, E. Spaulding Bakeries, and Decker Construction. After giving her heart to the Lord, Norma was an active member at the Mosherville Bible Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed the mild winters in Virginia with her family. Surviving are her two sons, Greg (Susan) Phillips, AZ; and Terry (Cathy) Phillips, VA; 6 grandchildren, Andria (Joseph) Kobylinski, William (Marla) Phillips, Lucas (Francesca) Phillips, Alexis (Thomas) Daddio, Mitchell Phillips, and Emma Phillips; 8 great grandchildren, Harper, Everly, Juniper, Hazel, Dominic, Luca, Thomas, and Noah; sister-in-law, Teddie Criss; nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was the last of 7 children and was predeceased by her siblings, Bessie (Bill) Baker, Samuel Jr. (Jeannette) Criss, Calvin (Martha) Criss Augusta (Carl) Bennett, Marjorie (John Earl) McCullum, and Frank Criss; along with Ona (Leonard) Smith, who she loved like a sister.
