Carla June (O'Neal) Branch, of Masaryktown, FL, passed away August 30, 2021 at the age of 66.
She was born on October 30, 1955 in Evansville, Indiana to Carl and Elizabeth O'Neal. She moved to Florida at a young age and was a Hernando County Resident for almost 50 years. She played softball and was very active in her children's sports. Over the years, she helped coach and manage their teams. She helped fundraise and led Booster Clubs to support the schools. She volunteered in the schools and eventually became a substitute teacher. She got her real estate license and enjoyed selling property.
She spent many years traveling with her husband and riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle. She loved attending her grandchildren's events, whether sports, plays, or programs and never missed anything they were involved in. After retiring, Carla loved to garden and particularly loved sunflowers. Her favorite thing was spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was "Granny" to everyone she met.
Carla was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Branch, her father Carl O'Neal, mother Elizabeth O'Neal, brother John O'Neal and sister Rebecca Roberts. She is survived by her daughter Karen Como (Domenick) and their children, Nicholas and Tyler. She is also survived by her son Jason Branch (Trish) and his children, Sabrina and Jorden. Carla also leaves behind her sisters Nancy Hinkle, Peggy Johnson, Mary Volberg and their families, as well as her brothers Danny, Randy and Carl Wayne O'Neal and their families.
