Billy Meade Gresham, 86, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Griffin officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Billy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Willie Joel and Lila Barron Gresham. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Gresham.
Billy served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Proctor and Gamble/ADM. He was a member of the Shurlington Church of the Nazarene. Billy was a charter member of the Ocmulgee Knife Club and was a master gardener.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Wynelle Pierce Gresham, three daughters, Donna (Stan) Ethridge of Macon, Vicki (Brian) Grimsley of Gray, Kelly (Gary) Stone of Bonaire, five grandchildren, Merritt (Cody) Brooks, Michael (Neila) Grimsley, Cydney (Sean) Blackwell, Savannah Stone, and Alex Stone, great grandchildren, Kash Brooks, Presley Brooks, Henry Grimsley, and Vivien Grimsley, sister, Lynn Starr and brother, Charles Gresham and several nieces and nephews.
