TYNGSBORO - Rita B. (LeBlanc) Cobleigh, 75, died yesterday, Feb. 7, at her home. She was the wife of Frank E. Cobleigh, with whom she celebrated a 55th anniversary on Jan. 27.
She was born in Lowell on Aug. 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Adelard J. and Alice P. (Lamarre) LeBlanc. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1942 and from Nashua Business College in 1954.
Mrs. Cobleigh worked at Edgcombe Steel Co. in Nahsua, NH, Lowell Technological Institute Bookstore as a manager and the K. K. Fredricks Co. in Wilmington, retiring as treasurer in 1985.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of North Chelmsford. She was a longtime volunteer at the Tyngsboro Library and was a past Girl Scout leader.
Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters, Michelle E. and her husband James Healy of Singapore and Maureen E. Cobleigh of Tyngsboro; a sister, Pauline M. and her husband Albert Gervais of Tyngsboro; two brothers, Roger E. and his wife Patricia (Foye) LeBlanc of Hollis, NH and Dennis E. and his wife Carol (Bickford) LeBlanc of Tyngsboro; a granddaughter and her husband, leigh Ann Healy-Davis and Thomas Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
