Judith A. Alberstett Zimmerman, 75, of Pecatonica, IL died at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Mercy Health Javon Bea Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born August 31, 1945 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Rita (Mahoney) Slocum. She graduated from Durand High School class of 1963 and St. Anthony's School of Nursing. She Married David M. Alberstett on September 26, 1964 in Rockford, IL; he passed away December 3, 1987; Judy then married David Zimmerman on August 14, 1994 in Pecatonica, IL; he passed away December 3, 2020. She retired as an Educational Support Staff for Special Needs children from Rockford Public School District. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Durand, IL.
Survivors include: sons Matthew Alberstett; Kurt Alberstett; Grandchildren Luke, Alex, MaryKate; brother Thomas (Mary) Slocum; sister Sue (John) Greenwell; numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by Parents, husbands, son Scott.
