Johnny Fant, 51, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away August 31, 2021. He was born September 7, 1969 in Lutcher, Louisiana to Earl George and Barbara (Simmons) Fant.

On September 18, 2009 Johnny was joined in Holy Matrimony to Alma Fuentes. His life was transformed at that time because, as he told his bride, "In one day you made me a Husband, a Son-in-Law, Father and Grandfather!"

Johnny was self employed and worked in the trucking industry for many years. He loved his family and his number one goal was to always provide for them. One of his favorite things to do was spending time with his family, but he especially loved spending time with his six beautiful granddaughters!

He was a member of Waxahachie Bible Church.

He is preceded in death by his father; Earl George Fant, and mother; Barbara Jean Fant.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of eleven years; Alma Fant, son; Jose Paralta, Jr. and wife Emilia, daughter; Jasmine Fleckner and husband; Dylan, son; Eric Terrones, granddaughters: Desiree Peralta, Yazidi Peralta, Marisol Peralta, Atalia Peralta, Genesis Peralta, Valerie Fleckner, siblings: Robert Fant (Christi), Louis Fant, Janet Armstrong (Neal), nieces and nephews: Robert Cochise Fant, Joshua Adam Fant, Cody Neal Armstrong, and Madison Janell Armstrong, as well as many nieces and nephews gained through marriage.

Visitation will be held at Waxahachie Funeral Home on Monday, September 6, from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
