Mary Ann Lawton, 90, passed away August 29, 2021. She was born on her family's farm near Palmer, Ohio on September 3, 1930 to Jesse and Garnet (DeLancey) Stollar. She married Irvin Haskell Lawton on October 4, 1952 in Beverly, Ohio. They raised their four children in Seymour, Indiana. She is survived by her sister Jane Bolinger, children Joyce (Jay Nagao), James (Charlotte), Joseph (Elaine) and Jennifer McNulty (Tom); grandchildren Jeffrey Lawton, Abigail Norris (Clark), Kaci Telford (Graham), Lindsey Phelps (Dave), Emily Lawton (Adam Stoffel), Lauren Raizk, Michael Raizk, Christopher Raizk, Karen Candlish (Brian), Patrick McNulty (Kelley Bates), Mary Bala (Drew) and Grace McNulty; and great grandchildren James Bowman Norris, Henry Haskell Norris, Helen Ruth Candlish and soon to arrive Cecelia Stoffel.

Mary Ann worked for many years for Sears Roebuck in accounting and managed the catalog department and for Home Federal Savings and Loan in Seymour until retirement back to the Lawton family farm in Barlow, Ohio where her family gathered for Thanksgivings and many memorable July 4 celebrations. They spent their last years in Indianapolis as health issues arose.

Mary Ann and Irvin were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Seymour, First Presbyterian Church of Marietta, Garfield Park Baptist Church and Mary Ann joined Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Mom was thankful for the good friendships she developed over the last two years while she resided at Lincoln Lodge.

A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM.
