Juanta Meshea Coffman earned her heavenly wings on Friday, August 20,2021 at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. Juanta was born on August 8, 1979 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Willie E. Grayned and E. Marie Coffman. Juanta was last employed as a Supervising Producer with Atlanta Black Pages and Producer with CNN. She grew up learning the Word and forming her personal relationship with Christ at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Rockford, IL. On her journey establishing her career, she joined and fellowshipped at Triumph Church in Detroit, under the leadership of Pastor Solomon Kinloch, Jr. and Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta, under the leadership of Dr. Craig L. Oliver, Sr.. Juanta graduated from Jefferson High School Class of '97, received her Bachelor of Arts, Media Arts and Production; Master of Arts, Journalism from Wayne State University; Production Certificate , Television Production from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Thee absolute MAIN ATTRACTION! She was proud to represent Delta Sigma Theta's Crimson and Cream, 5° of DSTinction and her Arrogant Family.

Juanta leaves to cherish many loving memories, her greatest accomplishment ever, daughter, Kennedy Lynn; her favorite guy, father, Willie E. Grayned of Florida; loving and devoted mother, E. Marie Coffman of Illinois; sisters, Tamara (Claude) Coffman-Baker of Illinois; Dr. D.D. Bates of Georgia; Desiree (Turner) Atkins of Alabama; Shalunda (Robert) Brown and Sherry Grayned of Texas; brother Lamont Grayned of Missouri; special niece and great-nephew, Jade Sturdivant and Karston; godson Marcus Hill, Jr.; best friend, Tiffany Ingram-Hill; a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved dog Sasha. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Daniel Webster and Bertha Hanserd-Coffman; and paternal grandparents, John and Patsy Brooks-Grayned.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, September 4, 2021 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church 4747 W. Riverside Blvd. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
