Kenneth was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Eliza Jane Meeks and Luke and Jessie Gibbs; parents, Arthur and Agnes Meeks.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Meeks; children, Deanna (Randy) Harper and Kim (Chris) Blevins; grandchildren, Stewart (Erica) Sowder, Crystal (Tim) Fallesen, Frances (Russell) Black, Mason Christopher and Brandy, Garrison Christopher and Dalyn; great-grandchildren, Ean, Eli, Khloe, Kinsley, Bella, Nakaia, Kali, Ezlynn and soon to be Sadie; siblings, Doris Anderson, Christine (Billy) Wiggins, and Ed (Linda) Meeks along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Kenneth not only professed Jesus but lived and walked out his faith. His treasures in his life were his Lord and Savior and his love for his family. He loved his country and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time working in his yard and garden. He was greatly loved, respected and will be sadly missed.
The family will have visitation on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and Friday, September 3, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.
WITH THIS BEING A PUBLIC VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE, MASK WILL BE MANDATORY PER COVID REGULATIONS WHETHER YOU HAVE UNDERLYING ISSUES OR NOT.
The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home following the visitation on September 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm CST with Pastor Stephen Brackett and Grandson Stewart Sowder officiating.
Interment will be at Cumberland Cemetery in Kimball, TN following the funeral service. Military Honors Ceremony will be conducted by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guards.
Pallbearers will be Mason Christopher, Garrison Christopher, Jamie Lyle, Matt Lyle, Ronnie Smith and Wesley Smith.
